When I hold on a image that is a link, I should get the”open in new tab” option in addition to the current options.
Does the hd version support flash player?
Desktop toggles causes FC. I need that. I’ve always disabled the swipe left and right toolbars until now, so great job but please fix the desktop toggle!
There needs to be a option to share a image from the browser. When I hold on a image the current options are save image, view image, copy image url and set as wallpaper.

I’ve been using v7.3.1 beta for a few days on my Toshiba Thrive 10.1inch (Honeycomb 3.2.1) for a few days, and just loaded it on my HT C Inspire 4Gphone(Gingerbread? 2.3.3) today. I haven’t noticed any problems or annoyances yet, but will report back after further testing it out.
The one thing I HAVE noticed is that the sensitivity issue has definitely been fixed in swiping to the sidebars. Especially on my phone, it was a problem, but no more. Now the sidebars do not accidently open when I am scrolling horizontally on a page, but when I do want to open the sidebars I just swipe at the very edge of the screen. Very smooth and works like a charm…thanks!

Third on the top tab issue scrolling up to change tabs is bs , right on as far as the sidescrolling sensitivity we speak dolphin listens!. Current release has been force close to home quite a bit, would like to have an ability to move the hand icon to top corners (sucks wen watching prono…i mean reading…. because you have to scroll up to change tabs for reference on another page) and some type of video download option so you can download a vid and watch it later…like real player does in pc ?

I can confirm that a lot of times nothing happens when choosing “Open in new tab” and sometimes I have to click on it 3 times to make a difference.
Besides, I cannot do anything but emphasize how important it would be to have an option that makes the address bar stay at the top of the screen. I do not want it to disappear every time I scroll down anymore! It is really becoming a tiresome “malfunction” of the app.

The tab and address bar not being accessible after scrolling down sucks! There should be a swipe action from the top edge of the screen to jump to the top bar.
I’ll second that idea. Once you scroll up the address bar should act like another pull-out from the top of the screen.

I own the ASUS Transformer TF101 running Honeycomb 3.2.2. I had the same issue when using the previous Beta version but I chose not to mention it due to the upcoming ICS firmware update on my Transformer. However, some people say here that they have the same issue on their Prime, running ICS, so I thought it may be important for you to know.
The other day it totally did not react, I selected “Open in new tab” for 5 times(!) and still nothing happened. Eventually, I had to reload the page and start the process all over again.
Thank you for forwarding my request. As you can see, many of us eagerly wait for the option to make that bar stick on the screen as it does in all browsers for PC.

No problems whatsoever when I had the original Transformer. The Transformer Prime has ICS, which does not have this tab problem… now the download problem though….

Nope. I have about 7 browsers installed, among them the only one having this issue is Dolphin HD. As I have mentioned before, opening links in new tabs was never an issue until you released V 7.3 Beta around the end of 2011.
da1writer, if only you read through comments thoroughly! It seems like you do not own the original Transformer anymore, but as I have stated, this issue only exists since the release of V 7.3 Beta (came out around a month ago). Moreover, someone with a Prime running ICS already mentioned this issue below. Please help yourself to scrolling down. Peace.

Nope, it does not happen every time, but it happens relatively often. Usually, this issue occurs when I already have at least 2 tabs opened and in either page I try to open another (a 3rd, 4th, etc.) link in a new tab.
Well, I have not been keeping records of the sites where it happened, but it definitely occurs on facebook.com (not that the site itself works like a charm in general when using ANY browser for Android…), on BBC or any other news site, but basically, it can really occur on every site.
I also think it’s important for you to know that I use my browser in Desktop mode!
So, there goes some information on my TF101:
Android Version: 3.2.1 (I accidentally wrote 3.2.2 above)
Build: HTK75.WW_epad-8.6.5.21-20111216
However, I must emphasize once again, that I don’t believe that it’s got to do anything with my tablet, because it never occurs when using any other browser, and it never occurred before upgrading my Dolphin HD to V7.3 Beta.

I love love love Dolphin HD on my HTC Inspire phone and my new Toshiba Thrive tablet. Love the features, add-ons, speed, and especially gestures. Having Dolphin Connect to keep everything synced between devices is wonderful. I paid for the license not just for the ad free aspect (never really noticed the ads if there were any anyway), but just wanted to support the work that goes into providing us with this fantastic browser. How do you adjust the sensitivity? I don’t see it anywhere, and this is a problem for me.
Also, both with the beta and release, often when trying to click to open a link in a new tab, nothing happens.

For the “Open in new tab” issue, do you mean that a link doesn’t open at all or it just opens in your current tab?

for the open in new tab issue, the link doesn’t open at all. sometimes you have to do it over and over to get it too open

Hi! I tried it on an Ainol Novo 7 Paladin (MIPS processor / ICS 4.01) and it don’t render the pages correctly. The application don’t closes, it seems to work ok, but render the pages in a unradeable way.

This has to be the best update I’ve downloaded for Dolphin. I really like the fact I won’t mess with the toolbars by accident anymore.
The other thing is, while it didn’t actually install the add-ons shown in the right toolbar, the update made me finally try them.

What is the new method to open the toolbars? I can’t find it or see anything different. Transformer prime running ics.
The two major issues I’m having are not being able to slide out the toolbars and also I find it hard to click on a link and be able to open in a new tab. The menu pops up but often nothing happens when I tell it to open in a new tab.

Would like to mention that ICS runs this beautifully unlike honeycomb. Two more things need to be added and Dolphin will be my prime browser.
1 – Needs to fix it’s broken download structure that is the same as the default browser. Opera and Firefox download large files fine and completely. Dolphin and the default browser downloads stop right at the beginning leaving incomplete downloads.
2 – Where is an incognito tab shortcut?

1) I have a few files on mediafire i backed up but can’t download through dolphin browser. I’m sure more media sharing websites don’t work as well – try it youself by uploading a file on mediafire and try redownloading it. Won’t complete the download whatsoever.
2) yes but you have to dig inside the settings menu. why can’t there be one? This was asked before due to dolphin mini having an incognito option readily availible without needing to go into the settings menu. If it’s too hard to add an incognito tab option, could an add-on be made?

Dolphin Beta feedback from xperia arc: Shake it addon is not included?! I cant find it. I can Only find Dolphin companion. Web to pdf and screen cut. Thats only 3?

I just realized it’s probably Roboto. Whoops.
I downloaded it, and then had to revert back to the release version. Filling forms on web pages was EXTREMELY laggy with this beta, and first attempt, after tapping in the form field, typed into the address bar instead.
