Bookmark Sync is out of beta. A new Add-on for Dolphin HD is available on Android Market.
Bookmark Sync is an Add-on to sync your Dolphin bookmarks. If you need to transfer bookmarks between different devices, or backup bookmarks before re-installing and updating Dolphin HD, Bookmark Sync will be the one you are looking for.
To use Bookmark Sync, a Dolphin account is required. Let’s see how to use it by the following instructions:
- Open Bookmark Sync, click “Create Account”.
- Input your email address and a password for creating a Dolphin account. Please make sure that the email address you input is correct.
- Go to your email inbox to activate your Dolphin account. You should activate your account within 30 days, or the link will expire and you cannot use this service.
- Go back to Bookmark Sync after inactivating your Dolphin account.
- Choose “Manual” or auto-sync duration time, then click “Sync Now”.
One thing to note: Currently Bookmark Sync is only compatible with Dolphin HD v6.2.

I use Dolphin browser on android and convinced my wife to use it on her iPad (admittedly an easy sell since her favorite color is green and she LOVES dolphins), but without the ability to get at her laptop’s bookmarks, this browser is useless. Add this capability as others have asked and you have a viable product on iOS. Until then, Apollo browser gets the the job done.
Grate feature, but I wish we could manage those bookmarks from a pc via web. I think this isn’t hard to develop and it would improve this feature a lot!!!!

Sorry, the Bookmark sync add-on was unpublished. If you updated to Dolphin HD 7.0, you will have bookmark sync in core app.
Another vote for an iPad Bookmark Sync add-on.

Good stuff, better than nothing! but I think “Bookmark Sync” is not a good name for it, it should be called “Bookmark backup” because it just backs up bookmarks and restores them if neccessary. But sync makes sence when the bookmarks on the cloud can be modified from different devices/browsers and then changes are propagated to the rest of regitered browsers/devices. So still there is room for a true bookmark sync add-on/feature.
What I wish for and really miss in all andoird browsers is a sync capability with google bookmarks or other bookmark solutions like delicious or diigo and ideally with any of them based on user’s preference. It will work like this:
1. I choose for example google bookmarks from settings or install google bookmarks add-on
2. It loads all of my google marks and I see them as my default bookmarks
3. When I bookmark something it adds a predefined tag like “phone” or “mobile” or “dolphin” or whatever to the URL. (As most of websites still don’t have a proper mobile version with the same URL so I want a distinction between mobile bookmarked web sites and PC ones)
4. For the same reason when I search for a bookmark from my mobile browser I want the default tag defined above be a default part of my bookmar searches.
5. obviously any change to the bookmarks in the cloud (here google bookmars) will be SYNCED in my bookmarks on local and vice versa. In this way I can play with and organize my bookmarks on the big screen of my PC for example.

If the websites in speed dial are your bookmarks, then Bookmark Sync synchronizes them.
Is it possible we can get a flash toggle on or off gester in the new update?
